Why
The Kenai Peninsula?
It all started for me back in May, 1996 while working
on a small project in Anchorage.
Sue flew in from Colorado
for a week vacation, and we drove down to the peninsula.
We spend a could of nights in Homer, and enjoyed the
beauty of Kachemak
Bay from the Lands
End Resort at the end of the Spit. Everyone visiting
Alaska should see Homer. Later we visited Seward for
a day or so, before returning to reality in Colorado.
That was enough, I was hooked on Alaska.

From 1999 - 2005, I would come up to Alaska for a
week of salmon fishing on the Kenai River and halibut
fishing on Cook Inlet. All was great, but one thing
was missing. I wanted my own place with freedom to
come and go as I pleased.
While in Sterling
the summer of 2005, I found some land in the Gregory
Subdivision and bought it. That started a new
era for me in Alaska.
Fast-forwarding to 2010, I now own 9 vacation and
2 commercial
lots in Sterling, Alaska. Which is were I am today.
2010 could be a good year in Sterling, Alaska. My
vacation properties are well positioned for selling,
and opportunities for commercial business also looks
good. Sterling has lots of growth promise if the economy
continues to improve.
Stay tuned for more updates,
Dave
